Not sure why I can’t comment on this page. so I’ll just comment on _this_ page…
If you guys really wanted Sedona to be a small rural town you wouldn’t have let the east coast mod-squad come in and incorporate the City. That was in 1988/9. I was only 14 and i thought it was a stupid idea.
But, since you have it, now you need to deal with it.
Re: the street lights… Yes,you NEED street lights.
Hi, people dart out into the damned street all the time. I hit 5 or 6 pedestrians every day driving through West Sedona and Uptown. Its ridiculous. I have spines and brain matter all up in my grill. Do you know how hard it is to clean human earwax off your hood?
If you don’t allow the street lights, then I demand that:
- ALL jaywalkers be arrested on sight.
- Use the power of citizens arrest to pull in every person who crosses at Andante, and use a night stick on the tourists who drag their children across 89a in uptown 10 feet from a legal cross walk.
- Waterboard all the people who jump in front of my car as I pass MacDonald’s or the Coffeepot Restaurant. Its become ridiculous. a freaking JOKE.
The police refuse to persecute the jaywalkers. so we need the citizens of Sedona to take matters into their own hands. But really, another stoplight and some damned street lights are not going to kill the small town feel of Sedona. That died in the 80s and its never coming back.
